Vegan Makeup
Baaahh I’m searching veggieboards for makeup recommendations, but it’s so annoying to page through forums. I’m about to run out of the makeup I bought in my pre-vegan life (almost 3 years? yep. Guess I go through it slowly!)but the only two products that I want to replenish soon are eyeliner and mascara. I figure they will be the most challenging when it comes to balancing price and quality too.
What experience do you have with vegan makeup? Have you tried any products and either been satisfied or disappointed? Heard of any good ones? Really, any knowledge is appreciated!!

BWC waterproof mascara you can get at veganstore.com. It’s probably the cheapest (at 12 dollars a pop). You will notice it’s not as thick as mainstream mascara and it kind of crumbles when you wash it off probably because of the water proof properties. But if you’re not going for thick dramatic lashes, it’s pretty good. I also tried Zuzu Luxe mascara. It’s a little thicker but slightly more pricey — about 17 dollars. I don’t really wear eyeliner, so I can’t help much there!

And you should really change out your mascara every 3 months. It gets bacteria and stuff in it. It’s nasty! I saw this microscope of an old mascara on the Tyra Show. It grossed me out forever. haha
